You can do the Breathing Exercise alone or with the help of a professional.  You can either stay at home or head the gym.   Breathing Exercises can be done by sitting or by lying.  You can do it in a chair or better yet on the floor.  You have to sit with your back straightened up or spine erected.  Be sure that you are in a comfortable position so that you could execute the procedure in a correct way.  For starters, you can begin with at least 5 minutes then later on; you can increase the time gradually.  The pressure must be exerted on the lungs, as this is the main part of the body that works during this exercise.  You have to be alert and must engage in this practice seriously to achieve your desired goal.  Breathing exercise helps the lungs to develop stronger as the oxygen transmit deeper in the body. 


The breathing exercise is considered a yoga practice.  Yoga is good in helping achieve physical, emotional and spiritual growth.  It is also beneficial in providing good health and efficient weight control.


Safety Measures
The Breathing Exercise is beneficial if done correctly.  However if you do this incorrectly, there are risks involve.   Here are some of the precautions you must keep in mind before performing this exercise.

  1. For beginners or as you begin the breathing exercise, you must remember to do it slowly and start in a slow tempo.  Once you inhaled the oxygen, do not keep in it your lungs for extended number of seconds as it may cause nausea especially to the obese people.
  2. Remember to practice it in a clean place.  There should be no pollutants in the air, as you will take the oxygen deep to your lungs and all throughout your body.  It is best practiced in natural surroundings with trees around.
  3. If you regularly practice breathing exercise, include diet and other physical activities that could help you achieve your desired body in a shorter period.

Unlike other physical exercises, breathing exercise can be done anywhere by anyone.  It does not involve any strenuous workouts but is surely likewise beneficial to your health as you burn many calories through this exercise.
